Plant Lipids has invested heavily in setting up one of the world's most advanced laboratories among the Oleoresin factories of the world. Besides the normal checking of constituents, process control and quality assurance, it has products certified as "Kosher" and "Kosher for Passover". The R&D department has highly trained and experienced personnel at various levels.

They churn out products conforming to the demanding standards set by Plant Lipids. These personnel utilise regular in-house training facilities and also partake in training programs held in partnership with the Spice Board of India and other renowned agencies like CFTRI.

Plant Lipids has developed state-of-the-art research and testing facilities at its production facility. Plant Lipids relies on specialised HPLCs, GCs and an Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometer, to monitor aflatoxins, pesticides and heavy metals, along with meeting the most stringent quality regulations of the 21st century. Its technical excellence has helped Plant Lipids to enter collaborative programmes for manufacturing speciality products under confidentiality agreements.
