Plant Lipids has world class manufacturing, research and testing facilties across three states in India (see map). Separate extraction batteries exist for black pepper, capsicum, paprika, turmeric, ginger, nutmeg and celery. Additional multi-purpose units have been set up for other spices.
A large number of steam distillation facilities for different oils, a battery of solvent extraction units, latest drying facilities, a spray drier for the micro-encapsulation and a Government award winning effluent treatment set up are some of the significant facilities that has helped in Plant Lipids' remarkable success.
Plant Lipids has its main facility strategically located on the spice growing foothills of the Western Ghats, Kerala, India.
With state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities in India and the finest resource of spices and floral extracts, the products reach markets worldwide.
Plant Lipids was the first company in India to get the ISO 22000:2005 certification and believes in strict quality standards at all its manufacturing facilities.
Plant Lipids concern for the environment and contribution towards upkeep of high standards of pollution control, have earned Plant Lipids, Government awards for many consecutive years.
There are 14 plants that process over 75 MT of raw material per day which includes a micro-encapsulation facility. The Oleoresin and Essential Oils produced here are Ajowan Seed, Black Pepper, Calamus, Capsicum, Cardamom, Cassia Bark, Celery Seed, Cinnamon leaf, Clove Bud, Clove Leaf, Coriander Seed, Cumin Seed, Curry Leaf, Curcuma Aromatica, Davana, Fennel Seed, Fenugreek, Galangal, Garlic, Ginger, Java Galangal, Juniper Berry, Lemon Grass, Mace, Nutmeg, Olibanum Resinoid, Onion, Palmarosa, Parsley Seed, Rosemary Extract, Turmeric, Vanilla Extract, Vetiver , White Pepper.
